Studying viruses.
Learning from viruses.

About

Viruses enter our bodies and use host mechanisms to replicate. We study how viruses replicate and cause disease, with the aim of contributing to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. We also believe that understanding how viruses make use of cellular mechanisms can provide important clues for discovering previously unrecognized biological phenomena.
